Philippines | WESG SEA National Qualifier Finals 2018

The Philippines held its Qualifier Finals at the Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS), live at SMX Convention Center during October 26th-28th. Well-known professional teams such as TNC Predator and TNC participated in the finals, eventually winning their respective game categories.

 

Devoted fans packed the seats, and tuned in on both Twitch and Facebook to cheer on their favourite teams/players. The atmosphere was electric, and with the exciting performances as well as production, made it an event to remember.

Cambodia | WESG SEA National Qualifier Finals 2018

Cambodia crowned its National Champions last week, at the MCT Esports Center in partnership with MCT (Modern Computer Technology), on October 20th-21st.

 

Players battled it out inside two rooms on high-spec gaming PCs outfitted with Nvidia graphic cards for the best performance. Their intense fights were brought to life by the casters and the cheers from the crowd filled the space. The energy in the room was undeniable!

Indonesia | WESG SEA National Qualifier Finals 2018

The WESG SEA Indonesia Qualifier Finals 2018 were hosted in Mall Taman Anggerik, during October 17th-18th. Held in the mall’s spacious atrium, crowds filled up chairs and spaces behind offstage areas to cheer on local teams and players.

 

Prolific Indonesian teams and supporters competed, such as BOOM ID and Female Fighters (FFgaming).

The Thailand National Qualifiers were held in the brand-new Dell Gaming Esport Cinema in Bangkok, October 13th-14th. Teams came from all over Thailand to compete for the prestigious spot to represent their country in the upcoming SEA Grand Finals.

Laos | WESG SEA National Qualifier Finals 2018

Dedicated players flocked to the Lao Art Arena for the Laos National Qualifier Finals 2018, held on October 6th-7th. People from all walks of life (from media, to government officials, to loving family members) attended the qualifiers to cheer on their favourite teams and players.

 

Despite the competitive atmosphere, players cheered each other on regardless of win or loss. Cheers and chants filled the arena.

Quill City Mall hosted the WESG Malaysia Qualifier Finals on September 21st-23rd. Top 4 teams of each category, from all over Malaysia, came to fight for the coveted chance to represent Malaysia in the WESG SEA Grand Finals.

Myanmar | WESG SEA National Qualifier Finals 2018

Myanmar held its National Qualifiers over the long weekend (September 14th-16th) at the magnificent HOG Esports Center. Featuring not only offstage areas upstairs, players got to compete on the main stage in front of adoring fans and supporters.

The cheers echoed throughout the center as teams battled on homeground to win the coveted spot to represent their country in their respective game titles, in the SEA Grand Finals which will be held in Kuala Lumpur.
